Indo surf is performing and well it should!
It’s May and that means peak surf season is less than a month away, there is plenty of spaces available across our range and Kandui Surf Resort has upcoming availability as well. May 3rd report
Sorry for not posting updates, but we have been too busy getting barreled. I’m not even going to tell you what we have been up to, but I will say that while the Playgrounds area was, sorry to admit, packed with people on the first day of the swell, we were surfing this completely by ourselves until the wind got on it a bit mid afternoon.
May 3rd report (Con’t)
Forgot to mention, a storm came though and blew out most waves, but we saw it and rushed back to catch the afternoon session. We had to share it with 2 other people though. Life is hard. Rifles was pretty good the next day as well. The crowds from the day before had left and there were only about 10 people out when it was firing on all cylinders.
Some of the guys wanted to go left, so we sent them here. They surfed this for hours. By themselves…
So many waves breaking so good. Just a handful of our guys on the peak, one of which is on his 7th trip to Kandui and says that this is the best trip he has had so far! Of course, he said this after me, him, Dave, and Marcus had been surfing glassy, overhead Rifles by ourselves this morning. Better waves than the first day of the swell when it was packed! Laughing.
Winds were a little funky around the Playgrounds so we surfed another wave….by ourselves….all morning long.
Wow, what a trip this last one was! 10 out of 16 of the guests staying with us were return guests, some having stayed with us many times, so we were stoked to see them score like that. That swell just did not want to end. In fact, there was still a bit of leftover swell today and our new guests got some fun waves on the first day of their trip. (pictured) Yep, that was a good trip, but we might forget all about it by the time this current trip ends! The forecasts can’t be described as anything less than epic. Tons of sizeable swell and light winds starting about Saturday. Stay tuned!
A lot of return guests are here from Virginia Beach, and they brought there friends! This should be a fun trip. The guys got a warm up at Burgerworld this morning. This little swell peaks tomorrow, then the games really begin!
