Now, surfers from around the globe are prepping their step-ups, brushing up on their Spanish, and readying for what is expected to be one hell of a summer in Mexico. As for the other 99. 99 percent of us who have much less impressive big-wave pursuits, the region also offers up much less sinister surf.
